On behalf of the ESVO board it is our pleasure to invite you to our next Conference. This year, the meeting will be a joint meeting with the EESVO. This will be a unique opportunity to share and celebrate our common passion for ophthalmology.
It will be held in Prague Czech Republic, October 11–14, 2018.
The main topic of the conference will be "Retina" with the main speakers being Joe Wolfer and Adolfo Guandalini.
We will have the popular HED session and the workshops will be presented on Sunday morning.
The social programme will include a visit of the city of Prague and a Gala Dinner at a very typical Czech restaurant.

This meeting will be the first time a joint meeting of both, ESVO and EESVO. I am pleased to inform you that Prague and Czech Group of Veterinary Ophthalmology are very honored to host the European Veterinary Ophthalmology Conference 2018 which will be joint event of European Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology and East European Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology.
Main topic for ESVO/EESVO conference is “Retina and Vitreoretinal Surgery”.
In October 11th - 14th 2018, Prague will be the meeting point for veterinary ophthalmologists wishing to learn the latest high-level information. Joe Wolfer, DVM, ACVO diplomate, his main professional interest is retinal surgery, and he is one of the few veterinary ophthalmologists in North America who provides surgical care for patients with retinal detachment. Adolfo Guandalini, DVM, PhD, ECVO diplomate, is member of HED committee of the ECVO, involved in the gonioscopy subcommittee for the new system. Joe and Adolfo, pioneers in vitreoretinal surgery, will present a scientific view of case selection and vitreoretinal surgery step by step including complications and long-term prognosis.
