Prague International Airport handles the flights of most European carriers and also overseas flights. It is located 30-45 minutes from the centre of Prague. There is a good connection between the Airport and the city centre by public transport and taxis.
You can easily get to the city centre using one of the public buses. For the quickest transport to the city centre or the nearest metro station we advise using routes 100, 119, 191.
The bus AE (Airport Express) is special direct bus to the city (Hlavní nádraží – Main Railway station) for cost of 60 CZK, its stop is in front of the Terminal 1.
How to reach the meeting venue from the airport
No.119 (Airport -> Metro A Nádraží Veleslavín, every 5 to 20 minutes, travel time 25min), from metro station Nádraží Veleslavín (green line) you can take a metro to station Malostranská, which is nearby the meeting venue – Kaiserstein Palace.
There is no direct subway or train connection to the city from the airport. You need to buy a ticket beforehand and validate it when entering the bus. Tickets are sold at ticket machines or at newsagents in the arrival hall (if arriving late and all shops are closed, you can buy a ticket from the bus driver, but large banknotes are not accepted). Tickets cost just CZK 32, this allows you to travel for a 90-minute period.
Transport from Václav Havel Airport by taxi takes about 30–45 min. (19.5 km / 12 miles) and the cost is about 650 CZK one way.
Most taxis in Prague do not accept credit cards! Although it is easy enough in the centre to hail a taxi on the street, it is recommended that you book one in advance.
The official fare is approximately CZK 30 per kilometre, so please check the price list before you get into the car.
We recommend you use following taxi companies:
